HOME   WHAT   NEED   EXPECT

What to do?

"What to do" is simultaneously the most simple to explain, and the most difficult to put into practice.

In short—what do you want your major to be?

This is what I mean by "what to do"—it's quite literal.

While it's never an easy choice, UNO provides some good resources to help you figure it out:

Resource: UNO IS&T Programs

This list of IS&T programs provided in the course is an amazing starting point!

From this, we learned what opportunites exist within the college.

You're able to click into each of the majors and see relevent information, such as jobs in that field.

If you're trying to find a major, it's a great starting point!

Resource: UNO Course Catalog

If you're struggling to pick a major, it might be easier to pick out a few interesting classes first!

Another resource provided in class, the UNO course catalog, provides every course available at UNO.

It can be a little overwhelming at first, so don't stress!

Just choose something somewhat at random and poke around (within a field you at least think might be viable for you)!

Through this, we learned what is available at UNO—an important step in choosing what to do.

While these resources can't choose for you, they provide a great starting point to jump off of.

Don't stress too much, feel free to explore a little more out-there options!
